Tyler Kerr

Tyler Kerr is a mental health counselor. Tyler graduated from Syracuse University with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. Tyler completed their graduate internship at SUNY-ESF at Syracuse University.

Tyler has experience working with young adults from diverse backgrounds in short-term and long-term settings. Tyler has treated clients struggling with mood disorders including anxiety and depression, relationship problems, identity issues and other challenges impacting their mental health and well-being. Tyler also has experience in outdoor and nature settings working with students as they completed coursework and research.

Tyler’s style is warm and welcoming. They will provide an environment which is safe and open for all clients. While Tyler’s therapeutic approach is mostly person-centered, Tyler also utilizes other theoretical and clinical approaches when working with clients including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. Tyler will help guide you on your journey to gaining the clarity, understanding and courage you seek to achieve your goals and develop and maintain positive mental health and well-being.
