Sabba Hussain Scola, LCSW

Ms. Sabba Hussain is a Licensed Social Worker in New York State. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University. She then went on to graduate school at Fordham University in New York City, earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She completed her clinical internship at PROS Pathways to Recovery at Pilgrim Psychiatric Center.

Ms. Hussain has worked with patients in various clinical settings including outpatient clinics, private practice, diagnostic & assessment agencies for NYC and substance abuse treatment programs. She has experience treating patients struggling with mental health, medical, relationship dynamic and substance abuse issues. Her clinical focus includes mood disorders such as depression, anxiety and bipolar, however Ms. Hussain is well versed in trauma-informed care, personality disorders and psychotic disorders. Ms. Hussain has a wide-range of experience working with diverse, multicultural populations and is passionate about helping individuals struggling with acculturation due to their own or their family’s immigration status.

Ms. Hussain’s therapeutic treatment approach is cognitive and behavioral; helping patients gain insight into their thought processes and actions. She believes in a collaborative and solution-oriented therapy with measurable outcomes. She will provide a safe, compassionate space to express your authentic self.
