Kathleen Kelly, LMHC-LP

Ms. Kathleen Kelly is a Mental Health Counselor. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from The State University of New York at Plattsburgh. She completed her clinical internship at Behavioral Health Services North, a large Community Mental Health Center in New York State.

During her tenure working as a therapist in a community mental health center, Ms. Kelly worked with a diverse group of patients including patients identifying as LGBTQ+. Her work with patients involved crisis intervention and individual psychotherapy treatment. She treated patients with a wide range of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship problems, and career challenges. Ms. Kelly utilizes an integrative approach to treatment which might include cognitive behavioral, person centered, existential, feminist, trauma-informed and action and commitment therapy. Ms. Kelly will provide a safe and non-judgemental space with empathy, compassion and understanding as you begin your journey of healing, self improvement and achievement of your therapy and other life goals.
