Ms. Adaysia Davis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. She earned her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in Mental Health from Hofstra University in New York. Ms. Davis has worked with adolescents, adults, and couples to support them in working through life challenges.
Ms. Davis utilizes an integrative approach to treat patients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, addiction, work/life balance conflicts, and relationship concerns. While her treatment approach is generally integrative and is tailored to specific patient problems and needs, she primarily uses cognitive behavioral and person centered therapy to understand and conceptualize her patient’s issues while developing a plan of action to help improve their lives and circumstances.
Ms. Davis provides a therapeutic space which is genuine, supportive, and nonjudgmental. She aims to help her patients overcome their challenges, learn about themselves, heal from past traumas and negative experiences, and to be hopeful about their lives and futures again.
